Julia Taylor Anderson, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on April 6, 2008 at Bel Aire Assisted Living Center in American Fork, Utah. She was 80.

Julia was born August 30, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Elton LeRoy Taylor and Ethel Lulu Scott. She was raised in Price, Utah and attended local schools, graduating from LDS Seminary in 1944 and Carbon High School in 1945.

Julia graduated from Carbon College in 1947. She completed her education at Brigham Young University in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After completing her education, Julia taught school at Grandview Elementary in the Provo School District. She also worked as a dental assistant for many years and as a Guardian Ad Litem and volunteer teacher's aide at Joaquin Elementary.

Julia married Kenneth Ray Anderson in the Manti LDS Temple on July 28, 1948. He passed away in 2006.

Julia enjoyed travel and traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. She was a member of The Tamiris Literary Club. Julia was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Young Women, Relief Society and Sunday School organizations. She was a member of the Provo 15th Ward, Bonneville 5th Ward, Cove Point Branch, and was a member of the American Fork 11th Ward at the time of her death.

Julia is survived by two daughters, two sons, one sister, two brothers, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and son-in-law.
