Charlotte Ann McAulay Maynor, age 94, formerly of E. Kivett St., Asheboro, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Carillon Assisted Living Of Asheboro.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church with Dr. John S. Rogers and Rev. Mark Hall officiating. Entombment will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
Mrs. Maynor was born May 7, 1913 in Montgomery County to the late Martin Atlas and Abigail Haywood McAulay. She was formerly employed by Centel Telephone and was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Murray O'Brien Sunday School class. Mrs. Maynor was preceded in death by her husband Carl Maynor in 2003.
She is survived by daughters and their spouses, Betty and Walt McNees of Asheboro, NC, Janet and Frank Ashfield of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren and their spouses, Melody Walker of Garner, NC, Alana and Brian Follas of Belews Creek, NC, Alisa and Stacy Deans of Garner, NC, Brian and Terri Walker of Asheboro, NC, David and Tara McNees of Advance, NC, Stephen and Janelle McNees of North Africa; great grandchildren, Joshua Blanton, Micah McNees, Morgan and Alec Deans, Seaver, Aidan, and Owen Follas, Kelsey and Katie Walker, Josiah and Evan McNees.
