He lived at the partental home until in April of the year 1888 when he came to Nebraska, and resided near Sparks the greater part of his life.
On March 10, 1891, he was united in marriage to Mary Olive Shields. To this union three children were born. One daughter, Bernice Simons, having preceded him in death.
Mr. Fullerton was a member of the Christian church, having joined that faith in his early life.

He was a devoted husband and a generous and loving father. His first thought was that of his family. Energentic and ambitious and ever a good provider.

On May 15th he suffered a servere heart attack which later proved fatal. During his illness he was a patient sufferer, always considerate of those caring for him.
