There are seven known people buried in this little cemetery. Four of them have clearly marked graves. With the Kind help of the Kelsey Cemetery Board, Williams grave was marked with a Veterans Administration headstone in July, 2022

ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION
Gilmer, Upshur Co., Tex., Jan. 13.-- Last night Jeff Saunders, about 60
years of age, was shot in the left thigh while standing before the fire
in his room alone. The shooter stood outside and shot through a window.
The doctor who dressed the wound took out about twenty buckshot. The
wound is considered dangerous. No {sic} clew.

Gilmer, Upshur Co., Tex. , Jan. 23. - W. J. Sanders, who resided six miles west from Gilmer and who was shot by some one through a window several days since, a report of which was published in The News, died last night from the effects of his injuries.
