A resident of Oakland for 31 years, she attended Rhode Island School of Design, member of Retired Navy Officer Wifes Club. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Capt. John Altmeyer, USN ret., daughter Kris Wildes and sons Capt. Bob Altmeyer, E.D.C.S.O. and Erik Altmeyer. Also survived by grandson Kevin Wildes. A memorial service will be held on June 15, 2002, 10:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, Pleasant Hill. Inurnment Oakmont Memorial Park.
