Wendal was born in Spokane Washington to George and Ruth(Birch)Sullivan. He attended school in Washington, Oregan and California. He served in the Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959 and was stationed in Hawaii and Bremerton.
On January 3, 1959 he married Geri G. Soule' of Bremerton.
They lived in Portland, Ore. until 2002 when they returned to Washington. He sold commercial hauling equipment,restaurant equipment and supplies and worked in stainless steel fabrication. He enjoyed golf, hunting and camping.
Survivors enclude his wife;a sister, Shannon Giltner of Portland,Ore. and numerous nieces and nephews.
