BARBARA A. QUIGLY BANKS Anchorage Daily News October 28, 1996 Wasilla homemaker Barbara A. Quigly Banks, 51, died Oct. 24, 1996, at Valley Hospital. A visitation was at Jones-Casey Funeral Home in Salmon, Idaho. Burial was at Salmon Cemetery. Mrs. Banks was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Salmon, and had resided in Alaska since 1987. She enjoyed cooking, canning and western music. The family said: ''She loved to can fruit and vegetables and gave them to everyone. She tried to take care of everyone.'' Mrs. Banks is survived by her husband, Tom Banks of Wasilla; son, Ryan Boloen of Flagstaff, Ariz.; nephews, Ralph and Dale Quigly of St. Maries, Idaho, and Glen Quigly of Idaho; cousins, Irene and Cliff Silvers of Wasilla and Pat Silvers of Challis, Idaho; aunt, Gurturde Dillion of Salmon; and adopted son, Mark Pettit of Wasilla. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society, Mat-Su Unit, P.O. Box 431, Palmer 99645; or to the Crippled Children's Travel Fund, Al Aska Shrine, 1730 E.Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage 99508. Local arrangements were handled by Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.
