Mrs. Zilla Brown, wife of James S. Brown, died March 30, age 41 years, 10 months, and 7 days. Interment was in J. D. Stubblefield Cemetery April 1. She is survived by her husband; four daughters; one son; four brothers, Bob Chester of Biggers, Lige, Ted and Edgar of Elm Store; and three sisters, Mrs. B. E. Brown and Mrs. A. N. Kirkpatrick of Dalton, and Mrs. Tom Eaton of Carney, OK. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. B. Shaver. (PSH, April 15, 1926, page 3)
