Ruth Sophia Christianson daughter of John and Sarah Samuelson Christianson, was born in Mona Dec. 4, 1896. She was baptized and confirmed in the Mona Lutheran church and attended school at Mona and Lyle.
On December 4, 1939 she was united in marriage to Peter Anderson of Mona.
They spent their entire married life on the same farm near Mona and she continued living there after the death of her husband in August, 1969.
She was a lifelong member of the Mona Lutheran church and active in the Dorcas Circle, the ALCW and Bible study group.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eva Carlson of Mona and Mrs. Irene Lee of Carpenter; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband Peter; her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
