Mrs. Leanna S. Wyant, a former Kittanning resident, died at 1:20 a. m. Monday, May 19, 1952 in the Adrian hospital, Punxsutawney. She had suffered a fall a week ago and fractured her hip. Her husband, Harvey J. Wyant, preceded her in death in 1948. Mrs. Wyant was born in Armstrong County Dec. 15, 1868, a daughter of Daniel Lasher and Catherine (Frick) Lasher. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. L. J. Claypoole, Dayton; Mrs. W. A. Schreckengost, Kittanning; two sons, Ira B. Wyant, Chicago; Samuel D. Wyant, Jonesville, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist church, Kittanning. Friends will be received in the Rhodes funeral home. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Mrs. Wyant's pastor, Rev. Wesley Dixon. Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of funeral director John W. Rhodes of Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Interment was made on Wednesday, May the 21st 1952, in the Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
