West Asheville - Mars Hill - Eula Tweed Auldredge, 73, died Friday October 6, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness.

A native of Madison County, she had lived in West Asheville since 1954. She was a member of Forks of Ivy Baptist Church and a 1951 graduate of Mars Hill High School. She had served as secretary for the family business, Asheville Home Improvement Co. for 25 years. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Belle Jarvis Tweed and the wife of the late Spurgeon Charles Auldredge. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Tweed.

Our mother dearly loved her farm and all that nature provided, to this very day and in her only way.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Forks of Ivy Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Shelton and Charlie Caraway officiating.

Burial will be in Historic Riverside Cemetery.
