Otis Allison

Otis Allison, 50, died at his home on Carolina ave., Chester, at 2:45 p.m. Thursday following a long illness. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Allison of Hookstown, where he was born and resided until several years ago. He is a member of the Free Methodist church of Chester and last was employed at the Edwin M. Knowles China Co. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Stella Allison; two daughters, Miss Maxine Allison and Miss Dorothy Allison at home; two sons, Robert at home and Pvt. James Allison of Camp Robinson, Ark.; four sisters, Mrs. Callie Brezard of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Celia Saylor of Youngstown, Mrs. Edith Alley of Follansbee and Mrs. Cora Allison of East Liverpool, and a brother, Lee Allison of of Hookstown. Services will be held from the home Sunday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Brooks Morgan, pastor of the Free Methodist church. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery. The body was moved from the Stewart funeral home to the Allison home where friends may call.
