SHAWNEE, KS -- Helen L. Robison, 95, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Sharon Lane Health Center in Shawnee, Kansas, following declining health.

She was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Parsons, Kansas, to O.H. and Jessie Troegle.

She graduated from Parsons High School.

On May 16, 1937, she married Kenneth E. Robison, an engineer for the Katy Railroad. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1981.

She lived her life in Parsons and was a member of the First Christian Church of Parsons and the Order of the Eastern Star. In earlier years she worked at Labette County Medical Center and National Gypsum.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Robison and wife, Sue, of Kansas City, KS; two grandchildren, Cole Robison of Lawrence, KS, and Cari Chapman of Lenexa, KS; three great-granddaughters, Maura and Genevieve Robison and Sophia Chapman; a brother, Fred H. Troegle of Parsons, KS; and two sisters, Ardith June Pierce of Royse City, TX, and Clarice Miller of Girard, KS.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Oran H. Troegle, on May 6, 1996.

She donated her body to the Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, Kansas City, Missouri. No services are planned.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice Care of Kansas in Lenexa, KS, or to the First Christian Church of Parsons, KS.
