Katherine F. Fish, age 97, of Columbus, died peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2008, at Wesley Glen. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Wilbur Fish, parents John and Thirsba Blenkner, sisters Louise Blenkner and Ruth Lorenz. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 1931, Katherine taught high school in Fredericktown and Nevada, Ohio. For many years, she traveled with her musician husband, presenting programs throughout the United States. She was a faithful member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church for over 60 years. Her constant love and indomitable spirit will be sadly missed by her daughters, Martha (Val) Vore and Marilyn (Richard) Vance; grandchildren, Carol Browning, Eric (Julie) Vore, Jennifer (Rob) Kluz, Gregory (Ann) Baughman, Chip (Mindee) Vance, and Rick Vance; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Alex and Ivan Vore, Paul Browning, Madeline, Natalie, Sophia Kluz, Nicholas and Rachel Baughman and Lilly Vance; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008, at 10 a.m. The Reverend Dr. Joel Baer presiding.
