COLUMBIA, S.C. - Mrs. Frances Bloxom, 74, died Monday, July 3, 1995, in Columbia, S.C. She was a native of Newport News and a resident for 73 years.
Mrs. Bloxom was a member of North Riverside Baptist Church, Newport News. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the ladies circle and WMU.
Mrs. Bloxom was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo H. Bloxom. She is survived by her daughter, Bette Runyan of Columbia, S.C.; her son, Edward L. Bloxom of Havelock, N.C.; her brother, Edward Lenz of Carrollton, Va.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1995, in Peninsula Funeral Home by Dr. John S. Carpenter Jr. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
