TONEY ADAMS DIES
Toney Morris Adams, a farmer of near Cullison, passed away Monday afternoon at 1:15 in a Wichita hospital, where he had been a patient since December 27th. He was 73 years of age.
Mr. Adams was born October 6, 1875 near Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Reuben and Mary Jane Adams. The family moved to Pratt county in 1892. Mr. Adams married Sadie Williams of Coats October 28, 1898, and they had lived in Cullison since that time. Mr. and Mrs. Adams celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last year.
Surviving him besides his wife of the home are: four sons, Harold of Greensburg, Carl of Haviland, Clyde and Ivan, both of Cullison; two brothers, Oliver of Eureka, California, and Ben of Canton, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Whitney, Mrs. Grace Young and Mrs. Doschia Bennett, all of Canton; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A son, Merle, and two grandchildren, Tommy and Morris, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Cullison Christian Church, conducted by Reverend R. A. Potter of Cheney. Interment was made in Greenlawn.
