Barb Jones was a kind, giving woman who was very involved in Church activities and social work, always caring for others. She was a very generous spirit.
Barb died at 72 years of age at her home in Detroit, Michigan, after a difficult battle with lung cancer.
Barbara Jones was survived by her children, Sandra Jones, Gnry. Sgt. James R. Jones (Retired), Michael Jones (Rosalie), Tina E. Jones-Lefever (Joe) and Sally J. Martinez (Vernon). She was a loving grandmother of eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her brother Reginald Robinson (Shirley) and longtime companion John Rossi. Barb was preceded in death by her husband James D. Jones, parents the Rev. & Mrs. E.E. Robinson (Maude), sister Dorothea Horton (Rupert), brother Ernest Robinson (Peggy) and granddaughter Crystal D. Anderson.
Interment of her cremated ashes at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church in Detroit, Michigan, where she devoted many hours helping those less fortunate than herself.
