Dewayne Lewis Clayton, 87, passed away March 12, 2008, Burley Cassia Co., Idaho. He was born November 11, 1920 in Garland, Box Elder Co., Utah to Leo Albert Clayton and Adelaide Hinman Clayton. He married Marie Holden on Oct. 8, 1946 in Elko, Nevada. She survives.

He is also survived by his children, Jack (Kayla) Clayton of Chubbuck; Cheryl Clayton and Dan (Mary Ann) Clayton, all of Burley; his siblings, Leola Burr of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jerold Clayton of Mayfield, Utah; Ona Moore of Hazelton and Gene (Margaret) Clayton of Fresno, California; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

During World War II, he served in the United States Navy stationed in Okinawa.
