Estelle Marie Chenoweth, 71, Arcadia, died Wednesday, Feb 8, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.Mrs. Chenoweth was a native of Bloomington but lived most of her life in Hamilton County. She was born Sept. 4, 1912, the daughter of Charles and Azza (Basey) Long. She graduated from Atlanta High School and worked at Wm. H.Block Co., Glendale, and Statesman Insurance Co., Nora, working in the Timeco Department several years.She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Arcadia; Trinity Circle; Arcadia Study Club; Salhoma Extension Homemakers Club and Tri-Town Senior Citizens. With her husband, John H Chenoweth, who survives, she was a volunteer driver for Hamilton County Meals on Wheels until entering the hospital approximately a week ago.Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harold(Carolyn) Newby, Melbourne, Fla., and Mrs. Francis(Phyllis) Baitz, R2, Atlanta. There are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
