Harry Perry, 94, Aitkin, died March 10, 2008, at his residence.

He was born May 6, 1913, at Rossburg to Henry and Katherine (Pendergast) Perry. He grew to manhood in the Rossburg area, working on farms and in the woods. His father died in 1919 so Harry helped support the family and didn't complete his schooling. In 1936 he went to Montana and worked in a logging camp. He returned to Minnesota in 1948 and farmed with his brother and nephew at the Morris-Johnson Dairy Farm. He worked hard until late in his life, and he was always a gentleman. He enjoyed dancing, country western music, baseball, and loved little children.

Funeral services will be Fri., March 14, at 1 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Rossburg with the Reverend Sandy Berg Holte officiating. Burial will be at 6 a.m., Tue., May 6, 2008, in Forest Cemetery, Kimberly Township. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday at the Church and one our prior to the service.

He is survived by his sister, Mildred Howard, Brainerd; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond (Phyllis) Morris, Aitkin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.

Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.
