She was born on April 29, 1939 in Sabula, Missouri, the daughter of Grover C. Lollar and Letha Leona Hawk Lollar.

Shirley was united in marriage to Robert E. Seufert on September 26, 1959 at the New Hope Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. To this union 2 sons were born - Robert Emerson Lee Seufert, Jr. on February 23, 1963 and Galen Dale Seufert on August 22, 1968.

Shirley and Robert lived for many years in House Springs, Missouri before moving to Bolivar on August 1, 1993.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar and the greatest joy of her life was taking care of her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters - Delia (Lollar) Harding, Eileen Lollar, Goldie Marie (Lollar) Krzton, Margaret Mary Lollar, Nancy Isabel (Lollar) Diesel, 4 brothers - Monroe Lollar, Paul Lollar, Grover Clyde "Clyde" Lollar, Sr., and Solomon Edward Lollar.

She was also preceded in death by her famous cousin John Sherman "Sherm" Lollar.

Shirley is survived by her wonderful husband of 47 years Robert E. Seufert, Sr., 2 sons - Robert E. Seufert, Jr. and Galen D. Seufert, all of the home. She is also survived by 1 sister - Essie Ruth (Lollar) Swan of St. Louis Missouri and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Butler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Russell officiating. Musical selections were "Amazing Grace" by Merrill Womach and "Beulah Land" by Brad Wommack with Rose Roweton as the Pianist. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Caskebearers were Eddie Lollar, Brian Lollar, Marion Diesel, Marshall Diesel, Roy Reed, and Kenneth Decker.
