Mrs. Hulen was a former nurse's aide at Northwest Texas Hospital. Survivors, other than the husband include a daughter, Miss Ruth Hulen, and a daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. H.L. Giles; and a son, John Robert Hulen; A brother, A.B. Caldwell, Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. W.S. Brandon, Port Mayaca, Fla.; Mrs. Dozier Richburg, Andalusia, Ala.; Mrs. Paul Gentry, Austin. Mrs. Hulen was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Canada, Parnell. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the Blackburn-Shaw Memorial Chapel, Rev. W.C. Bryant, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
