Cameron - Callie Marie Koenig, 64, of Marquez and formerly of Magnolia died Saturday, March 16, 2002 in a College Station hospital. Funeral services held Thursday, March 21st at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Koenig, a retired school secretary with the Tomball School District, was born December 28, 1937 in Oregon to Frank E. and Grace Roberta Cade White.
She had also worked for the Internal Revenue Service and as a teletype operator for the Texas Department of Corrections. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lester Koenig of Marquez; a son, Cade Koenig and wife, Tammye of Marquez; a brother, Charles White of Willis; a sister, Echo Ferguson of Austin; 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Haley and Caden.
