He was united in marriage to Ada M. Highbarger, Jan. 1, 1914, and lived near Plano, later moving to the Numa vicinity where he has been a resident for a number of years.
He was converted in 1918 during a revival at the Beulah Baptist church.
He was a devoted husband, a loving brother, a kind neighbor and numbered his friends by his acquaintances.
His father and mother and two brothers, Winfield and Thomas preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Ada, and Fred, who has lived in the home for ten years and was dearly loved.
The following brothers and sisters survive: Elizabeth Padget, of Seymour, Ia., William, Corydon, Ia., C. B., Allerton, Ia., Jeanette Des Camps, Knoxville, Ia., S. A., Plano, Ia., Myrtle Bills, National City, California, and Blanche Rhodes, Moulton, Ia., and a number of nieces and nephews, besides a host of friends.
