Rhonda Lynn Haynes. 49, of
Charleston went to Heaven
Jan. 27,2007. Rhonda was
a 1975 graduate of Sissonville
High School and was
an employee of the West Virginia
Treasurer's office as an
administrative assistant.
She was a member of
Southridge Church of God
where she was a member of the
choir, very active in the children's
ministry and a member
of the Hokey's small group
Bible study. She was a devoted
Christian since early childhood
and she never met a stranger.
She brought joy and happiness
to all she met. Rhonda was a
mother of three, but a mom to
many. People entered a house,
but found a home.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Roy and Mildred
Holmes, and a brother,
Roger Holmes.
Surviving are her husband of
32 years. Chuck Haynes; sons
and a daughter-in-law, Charles
William "C.W.- and Ellen Haynes
of Rochester, NY, and Nicholas
Roy and Gabriel Trent Haynes,
both of Charleston; brothers and
sisters-in-law, David and Jill
Holmes and Larry and Rosanne
Holmes, all of Charleston; sisters
and a brother-in-law, Wilma
Snodgrass of Charleston and
Emogene and Pete Patrick of
Wichita. KOTL; and grandsons,
Charlie Francis Haynes and
Johnny Watts Cooke. '
A celebration of her life will
be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1. at
Southridge Church of God with
Pastor Ed Bowman officiating.
Burial will be in the Young
family cemetery, Charleston.
Visitation with the family wfll
be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson
Funeral Home, Charleston,
and one hour prior to the service
Thursday at the church.
