health had been failing him for several months. He was born in the Salty
neighborhood, 10-miles south of Rockdale on November 14, 1870 and spent his
entire life in Milam county. He came to Rockdale in 1893 and began the practice
of law and remained here until December 1899 when he married Miss Pearl Green of
Cameron and moved to that city. He was a member of the W.O.W. and the Friends in
Need Society. He leaves a widow and one child, an aged father and mother,
