Curtis Allen, 69, of LaGrange, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange.

Mr. Allen, born May 20, 1934, in LaGrange, was the son of the late Willie T. and Pearl Pilgrim Allen. He retired as a maintenance technician for the city of LaGrange and was a member of Baptist Tabernacle.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Karen Allen of LaGrange; three daughters, Tanya Mallory, Angela Wrinn and Lisa Folds, all of LaGrange; a son, Curtis Ray Allen of Florence, S.C.; stepchildren, Sue Slaughter, Sharon Wright and Terry Folds, all of LaGrange; one brother, Dolphus Allen of Randolph County; two sisters, Willie Arndt of LaGrange and Betty Jean Lollar of Valley; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Pike.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m. at Eastside Community Church with the Rev. Jimmy Little officiating. Burial was in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Arrangements were by Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home, LaGrange.
