Claud Earp, Meeker, Oklahoma resident was born on September 5, 1925 in Stroud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on April 17, 2004 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.

Claud was the son of Martin Earl "Early" and Bertha Merle Clark Earp. He married Arlene Bowen on July 18, 1944 in Wellston, Oklahoma.

Claud served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as an aircraft mechanic at the Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement in 1975. Claud was a member of the First Christian Church in Meeker, Oklahoma.

His parents, wife and one brother preceded Claud in death.

Survivors include one son, Tom Earp of Houston, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Charles Towler of Chandler, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
