She was the wife of the late Wright G. Ansbach and Richard P. Royer.
Graveside services will be held at Dodson Chapel Cemetery, Shickshinny.
Mrs. Royer was born March 16, 1936, in Townline, Luzerne Co., a daughter of the late William and Ethel E. (Reider) Davenport Van Horn. She retired from the Holiday Inn on Route 30 in York, where she was employed as a Front Desk Clerk for over 27 years. She attended Emanuel United Methodist Church, Loganville and had lived in Loganville and Shrewsbury prior to moving to York New Salem two years ago.
She is survived by a son, Russell W. Ansbach of York, New Salem; four grandchildren; and two sisters, M. Louise Martin of Loganville and Gloria J. Dillon of Phoenix, Ariz.; She was predeceased by five children, Robert, Cheryl, James, Elizabeth, Brenda; and two brothers, William L. and James R. Van Horn.
