Karen was born December 16, 1947 in New Martinsville, WV the daughter of the late Roy F. and Georgia D. Teagarten Thompson.
She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Frank Thompson, II and a sister, Nancy Clapper.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Lewis Bowen; son, Jeffery S. Bowen of Millwood, WV; daughter, Kristy J. Postlethwait of Paden City; brother, Don (Mary Ann) Thompson of Loraine, Ohio; two sisters, Ola Mae Ott of Sheffield Lake, Ohio and Shirley Brown of Erie, PA; four grandchildren.
Friends received 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday-March 1, 2008 at the Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday-March 2, 2008.
