Carolyn Jean Beckom, 60, of LaGrange died Sunday, February 5, 2006, at West Georgia Medical Center.
Carolyn was born in Griffin, daughter of the late Johnnie and Bernice Eason Beckom. She had lived here most of her life, attended Oakside Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a special companion, Edward Bailey of LaGrange; sisters and brothers- in-law, Mary Ann and Lee South of Columbus; Janelle and Billy Peterman of Athens; Cathy Beckom of Marietta; and Ida Smallwood of Atlanta; brothers and sister-in-law, Perry Beckom and Bobby Beckom both of LaGrange; James Beckom of Fayetteville; and Jack and Carla Beckom of Barnesville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Darlene and Joey Smith of Pine Mountain, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Beckom, and four brothers, Milton Beckom, Tommy Beckom, Larry Beckom, and Dick Beckom.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 Wednesday in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
