PATRICIA MAY CROMER PRUITT ANGST, daughter of Claude O. and Hazel Kirkey Cromer, was born October 10, 1947, in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life February 24, 2008, in Springfield, Missouri.

Early in life she made a profession of faith in Christ and in 1997 was baptized at Phillipsburg Christian Church.

On December 24, 1965, Patricia was united in marriage with Ben Henderson and to this union were born two daughters who survive. She later married Oliver Angst in April of 1982.

She was employed outside the home for many years. She worked in the hotel industry for Red Fox and Holiday Inn. She also worked for a vending company and several convenience stores in the Lebanon area. She enjoyed her work and meeting new people, and treasured the relationships she had with each one of them.

Patricia enjoyed the tranquility of being outdoors. She spent many hours bird watching and taking in the beautiful scenery.

She is survived by two daughters, Nora Shelton and her husband Randy of Bowling Green, MO, and Tammy Speight and her friend Garry Decker of Lebanon; five brothers, Bobby Williams and his wife Clarice of Springfield, MO, Sonny (Wilmer) Pruitt and his wife Sue of the state of Virginia, Danny Pruitt and his wife Linda of Lebanon, Junior Cromer and his wife LaRue of Sedalia, MO, and Roy Cromer and his wife Donna of Quincy, MO; five sisters, Linda Harter and her husband Robert of Billings, MO, Mary Stacey and her husband Dale of Springfield, MO, Mildred Mack of Rogersville, Jeanie Lacey and her husband James , and Rosie Willhaus and her husband Fred all of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special friends, Junior and Mary Rhoads of Lebanon; other relatives and many friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bill Williams; her adopted father, Wilbur Pruitt, and one grandson, William Wagoner.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
