Nathan Rames Gedge, 97, our wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away February 25, 2008.







He was born December 19, 1910 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Herbert and Sarah Hannah Gold Gedge. On March 3, 1933, "N R" married Grace Burbidge in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Dad served an honorable LDS Mission to the Northern States from 1933-1935. He retired from Kennecott Copper after 25 years of employment. He was an avid horsemen, horse trainer and breeder. "N R" loved to read the LDS Church gospel and history books.





Survivors include daughter, Rinda Watts (Cloris); son, Ronald Gedge (Donna); eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Grace; and sons, Gerald Gedge and Gary Gedge.





Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the River Ridge 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 10200 South 1300 West, South Jordan. Friends may call at the Church for a Viewing on Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment: South Jordan City Cemetery.
