He was born June 26, 1916, in Morocco, son of the late Daniel Clyde Clark and Julia Artimissia Gilmore Clark, and was a 1934 graduate of Monon High School.
Mr. Clark served in the Army 82nd Airborne Division, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment during World War II. He served in six battles, including Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Holland, Belgium and Germany.
He enjoyed farming and retired at age 83.
On Nov. 16, 1946, he married Audrey L. Smith in Wolcott, and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Janet L. Olson (husband: Dennis) of Winamac, Danna L. Hall (husband: Ron) of Akron, Ohio, Marsha M. Bullard (husband: Ron) of Logansport and Carol J. Obergfell (husband: Joe) of Westfield; and a son, Dale D. Clark (wife: Maria Teresa) of New Caney, Texas.
Fourteen grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive. Preceded in death by a brother, Byron Clark, and two sisters, Mildred Huron and Marjorie Jordan.
