Albert W. Scott, 82, died Saturday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nellie Grimme, Eaton. He was a native of West Virginia but spent most of his life in Preble county. He is survived by his daughter; a son, Warren, Dayton; a brother, Godfrey, Dayton; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brubaker, living southeast of Eaton; Mrs. Ella Bostock of Eaton; Mrs. Louis Miles, Dayton; and Mrs. Eliza Zeek of Des Moines, Ia. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Girton & Snyder funeral home. Rev. J. R. Stanforth officiated; with burial in Mount Hill cemetery.
