Norwood F. CONNER was the son of Isaac B. CONNER of Screven County & his second wife, Jane Ann BURNS CONNER BRAUDA of Chatham County. Norwood's father died by the time Norwood was about three years old, and his mother remarried by the time he was eight years old. He died at the age of 28 years, predeceasing his mother and his step-father, John C. BRAUDA of South Carolina, and they were buried near him.
