Cynthia (Richmond) More was the daughter of Thomas P. & Laura (Backus) Richmond and a Mayflower descendant of Contance Hopkins, through her mother's lineage. She married 2nd, Sylvester Marshall in July 1873, but returned to the "More" surname before 1880. She was the mother of my ancestor, Addie (More) Powers, who is also buried in the Thornville Cemetery.
