Born in Norwood,Mo,Lucas moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma in 1937,and to Oklahoma City, in 1952.

Survivors include his wife Mary of the home;three daughters,
Mrs.Jean Heard of Edmond,Ok.,Mrs.Marie Heard and Mrs.Margie Carter,both of Oklahoma City,Ok.

Also four sons,Ross of Battle Creek,Mich.;James of Iredell,
Texas;David of Edmond,Ok.,Joseph,of Oklahoma City,a sister
Mrs.Margaret Ross,Weir Kansas.,

14 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
