Amina Mei Carmazzi Gardner passed away at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born in Massorosa, Italy to Joseph and Julia Landucci Mei. She had lived in Reno since 1929, coming from Madera, CA. She had also lived in Merced, CA. She operated the Washoe Bar and worked on the family farm. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. Amina is survived by her son, Adam Carmazzi and stepdaughter, Nancy Borden, both of Reno; son, Alvin Carmazzi of Corpus Christi, TX; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her first husband, Tony Carmazzi passed away in 1960, son, Arthur Carmazzi passed away in 1979. Her second husband, Cliff Gardner preceded her in death.
