Craig David Applegate, age 56 of West Chester, PA and formerly of Rochester, NY and Moorestown, NJ, passed away February 15, 2008.
Beloved son of Vera Applegate (nee Phebus) and the late Earl Applegate. He is survived by two sons, a sister, and a niece.
He was a 1969 graduate of Moorestown High School, a 1973 graduate of the University of Delaware, B.A. with Honors and Distinction in Psychology and a 1980 graduate of the University of Vermont, PhD in Psychology. Dr. Applegate was a Neuroscientist and accomplished his most fulfilling work while employed at the University of Rochester Medical School, Rochester, NY. He was an acclaimed lecturer and received many awards for his work with Stem Cell and Neuroscience research.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday from 11:00 to 11:30 AM at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
If desired, donations may be made in Craig's memory to the Coriell Medical Research Institute, 403 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.
