Albert L. Henning, of Doxey, Okla., departed this life at his home near Doxey on Sept. 8, 1909. He was born Oct. 30, 1847 in Smith county, Texas, being 62(sic) years old. His life was exemplary and moral, and he leaves a wife, three daughters and two sons to mourn his loss.

Old Doxey is a colloquial term used for the Doxey Cemetery that came into use only after the cemetery was abandoned and was never its official name. The cemetery is NE of Sayre not in Sayre.
