Royal Engineers - 109th Coy. Railway Troops, Service No. WR/250290.

Son of Samuel and Sarah Albon; husband of Agnes Emma Albon, of 72, St. Paul's Rd., Camden Square, London. Born at Stotfold, Beds.

Sapper Albon was laid to rest in an unmarked grave with others. As he qualifies for war grave status, his grave could not be marked as others are buried there, so he is commemorated in a special war graves plot at St.Pancras cemetery with a Commission Headstone which is designated as a Special Memorial (S/M).

Although there are many of these Special Memorial headstones in the Service Plot at St.Pancras, there are no burials at that location.
