Edward Chambers was christened 17 September 1809 at Boughton-Malherbe, Kent, 3rd son of Edward and Sarah Sedgewick Chambers. Edward married Mary Ann Burbridge 14 June 1834 at Hollingbourne, Lenham, Kent. At the time of his marriage he is listed as a farm labourer.

Edward and Mary Ann had eleven children, all born in Lenham.

There is no marker in the church yard but we presume he is buried near his wives.
