At the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Barbee, 1101 East Adams street, Monday, Apr. 29, 1901, at 11:30 a.m., Madge Burns, colored, wife of Frank Burns, aged 18 years. The deceased is survived by her husband, parents, one brother, Thomas Barbee, one sister, Miss Nina Barbee, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Webb, of Greenview, Ill. The funeral will occur Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of her parents, and at 2:30 o'clock from St. Paul's A.M.E. church. The services will be conducted by Elder Saunders, and the interment will be at Oak Ridge cemetery.
