Jeanne E. Glenfield, 68, of Bedford, NH passed away July 22nd after 14 months spent traveling and enjoying her family and friends while bravely battling cancer. She was born January 8th, 1939 in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Mercer E. and Anna (Nancy) P. Gibson.

A draftswoman at the Itek Corporation in the early 1960's, Jeanne took great pleasure in her various artistic endeavors. Her proudest achievement, besides her children and grandchildren, was being co-founder of A Quilters' Gathering, an event held every November since 1989 that draws quilters from all over the country as well as the globe.

She is survived by her husband John; one son Stephen and daughter-in-law Kelly; three daughters, Amy and son-in-law Joe, Sarah, Kate and son-in-law Scott. She was blessed with five grandchildren; Jacqueline, Joseph, Philip, Sam and Noah. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Lowe, brother-in-law Dennis Lowe, and niece Carolyn Shifflett and family.
