Louisa Conlatha Arnn preferred her pet name "Lois C"; however, some people mistook Lois C for Ocie. Her mother Louiza Virginia was the third wife of George Washington Arnn Jr.Various spellings of Arnn were: Aaron, Aren, and Arun. The family used Arnn. Lois C (Aaron) on 3 Oct 1875 at Henry Co, TN married Daniel Cicero Overcast (1835 NC-1901 Henry Co. TN). He posted $1250 bond to the Henry Co as surety of marrying Louisa Conlatha.

Cicero and Lois C settled in the Mill Creek area of Henry County near Puryear, Henry, TN. Although Cicero expressed interest in other women, sometimes with injurious consequences, they had 6 sons and 4 daughters. Cicero and Alberta and Albert are buried at the nearby FH Baptist Cemetery. Children: 1 George Washington Frank 1877 TN-1933 TN married Nan Porter Jones on 28 Sep 1904. 2 John Thomas Calvin (1880 TN-1947 MO) married Nell Thomas Williams circa 1908. John Thomas Calvin is often confused with his cousin John Calvin Overcast (1876 AL -1922 KY buried at nearby FH Baptist Cemetery). 3 William C Rony (1885 TN-1966 TN) married Mary Audra Morrow on 20 Nov 1909. His second wife was Ira D Paschall 3 May 1920. 4 Robert E Lee (1888 TN-1954 TN) married Edna Dial Capps on 7 Nov 1921. 12 years after Edna's death in 1938 Bob married the widow Loma Mae "Sullivan" Chambers.
5 Joseph Edward (1890 TN–1955) TN never married nor had children.
6 Ruby Mary (1892 TN-1979 TN) married the widowed Jacob W Francis Martin 22 Dec 1912 in Henry Co TN..
7 Frances "Fannie" Ethel (1896 TN- 1975 TN) married Curtis Lee Ross on 17 Jan 1914 in Henry Co, Tennessee. Curtis was a distance cousin, the sister of Cicero Overcast.
8 Anna Ruhama "Hama" (1898 TN-1981 MO) married John Parvin Jimerson on 25 Sep 1915 at Henry Co TN.
9 & 10 Albert and Alberta were born about 1894.Although a metal marker at the FH Baptist Cemetery lists Albert A (previous marker Alberta)death as 1901, she fails among the list of living children in the 1900 census where two children are listed as dead; therefore, she died before 1900 census.

Grandchildren of Louisa Conlatha "Lois C"named after her: George Frank's daughters: Mildren Louise and Lois Estelle. Bob's daughter, Louise. Anna Ruhama's daughter Mary Lois.

Louisa Conlatha and her mother Louiza Virginia were both early members of this RLDS church.
The daughters of Cicero and Lois C migrated to the Detriot area of Michigan and Independence, MO states several times with their spouses and children. They always returned to the place they called "home" the rural area of Henry County near Puryear. John Thomas C is the only son to leave Tennessee and never return. He is buried at Mound Grove in Independence, MO, as are many former members of the Foundry Hill RLDS church. Lois C taught her daughters, as did her mother Louiza Lankford Arnn, that all children are loved eually whether biological or step children. I certainly saw this was true of Ruby and Hama (my grand mother) both who had step children or adopted children. Louiza raised the two children of her spouse Boss Arnn and his second wife Charlotte, who died when the boys were very young. As far as she, her daughter Lois C, Ruby and Hama were concerned they loved the children in their care equally. (Fannie and spouse only had one child who she dearly loved). Louisa Conlatha "Lois C" was DNA halogroup K as are all of her female descendants.
