She was a beautician's receptionist and later worked as an admitting clerk for Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital. She attended New Castle High School. She belonged to the Independent Methodist Church. Her hobbies were cooking, baking and babysitting.

Relatives: one daughter Marcie White; her former son-in-law Ronald White of New Castle, PA; one great-grandson Antonio; one brother Mike Koch of Florida; three sisters Ethel Hudson and Helen Sniezek-Fullerton both of New Castle, PA and Mary Beltrame of Maryland; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandson Ronnie White in 2003; two sisters Margaret Muczko and Martha Kosola; and three brothers Louis, Frank and Paul Koch.
