Funeral services for Hazel Holsted, 77, Carnegie, were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie. Rev. Gerald Peters; pastor, officiated.
Hazel was born in Elida, New Mexico on September 23, 1911 and passed away Saturday, July 29, 1989. She had lived in Carnegie for the past 15 years after moving from Mountain View. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Alfalfa Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Eula Ferne and Robert Davis of Tecumseh; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Sharon and Kent Ellwanger, Tecumseh; two grandsons, Dennis Davis of Washington, D.C. and Kinney Davis of Tecumseh; two great-granddaughters, Vanessa and Shanell; two great-grandsons, Kinney II and Lane and one brother, Dale Beall of Anadarko.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laverne, four brothers and three sisters.
Burial was in the Alfalfa Cemetery with the Alfalfa Rebekah Lodge #307 officiating.
Services were under the direction of Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home."
