Daughter of Michael Mayer and Catharine Schmidt Mayer; came to America in 1890 or 1891; in Mansfield, Ohio, about 1896; worked in one of Mansfield's many cigar factories. Died when struck by an automobile while crossing South Main Street at the corner of Chestnut St. in Mansfield. Not known to have ever married or had any children. Buried beside her mother and across from her brother Fred Mayer.
