Daughter of Michael Mayer and Catharine Schmidt Mayer; born in what was then part of Hungary, probably in the town of Mramorak (now in Serbia, east of Belgrade); married Martin Dinger in Hungary, lived in the nearby town of Franzfeld. The Dinger family arrived in America 3 May 1903 on the ship "Necker" (Breman, Germany to Baltimore, Maryland), with Karl and Margaret Harich (sister and brother-in-law) and their families. Lived in Mansfield until about 1912 when they moved to a farm east of Mansfield, reportedly located on McElroy Road, between Ashland Road and Grace Street.
